cddb problems

Media player 9 is confusing the cddb info for two
different cd's i've coppied to my hard drive. When I
click on the desired song media player plays the correct
numbered track but from a different cd(same artist).
I've tried to delete and re-copy both cd's but the
system keeps getting the info mixed up. Any ideas how to
solve this weird problem?

WMP 9 has the option of looking up a CD's info and placing it as the default, even if it is wrong. I've had problems with this feature, and turning if off (within Options) doesn't help all the time. You can try to type the information manually by choosing the option to view/find album info and see if that works. Or, you can try to retag the CD information by having another program look up the information from the Internet and see if WMP will accept it.
