CDRW disappeared on startup

I installed CDRW with Windows XP hardware wizard. It
worked no worries until the computer was turned off and
restarted. It now has an exclamation mark over CDRW and
error code 10 "this device cannot start" What do I do so
this doesn't keep happening on startup?
