| When I boot my computer it automatically goes to the "Administrator" account. I can "change user" to the account that I use but it's a minor annoyance. How do I get the computer to boot into the account that I always use? Thanks | Guest

| Hi Lee, Use the method described here to logon to your user account directly. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...autologon.mspx This procedure works fine in Windows Vista as well. In step 4, type-in your user account name instead of "Administrator" -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "Lee Beck" <LeeBeck@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A2C71FAB-CC56-4457-A5DE-EEF9D2D4A062@microsoft.com...
