check cd hash?

I was browsing the group last night and came across a post which showed an
MS tool to check the cd hash of the Vista download.
Can't seem to find this post again.
Does anybody know please what this tool is? Also what is the hash I should
compare it to?

I use the free HashCalc tool from www.slavasoft.com . Works well.

HI David, thanks for the link. Found I did not need it in the end as the
disc burned fine.
