Default Check into a false "ProtectTools Security Manager" stop during ins

While trying to install RC1, following the scan, i get a stop message...with
instructions that I must remove "HP ProtectTools Security Manager" before I
can install RC1. I have a new HP Pavillion dv5100z notebook computer, (it is
NOT one of the business computers, which do have the Security Manager
feature).

After examining the Registry, Program Files, Start Up and Services, I found
there was NO such program listed. I also contacted HP. They stated that my
computer does NOT have that program running, because it is only on BUSINESS
COMPUTERS.

Please check into this issue, because it will obviously be a problem when
the Full Version of Vista comes out, IF it is not addressed now. Also, if
there is a workaround, please let me know. Thanks.

Jerry
