Hello,
I am having a problem being able to check our spam filter at work.
Occasionally we have mail getting blocked by the filter and someone will
request we check for an email that might have been blocked. Using Windows XP
we have no problem searching the folder for email using the search function.
We would just type in either the persons' email it is going to or who it is
from and it would bring up the possibilities. Now that a couple of us in the
IT department are using Vista we try to check the folder where the spam is
being held and it is almost impossible to find anything using Vista search.
The only thing I can think of is that the folder contains a lot of data and
is constantly being updated because of the amount of spam at work. Does
anyone else have this same problem? I cannot find a solution for this
problem, so any help would be appreciated.
As of right now the only way for us to check the spam filter is to use a
machine we have set asside that just runs XP. It would be nice to be able to
do it from out Vista Machines.
Thanks
