| Has anyone had experience using Choice Stationary photo papers? I have a new Epson printer and wish to establish standards for my future work. I have two categories- the first is for high quality for a restricted number of prints which I assume would be better using Epson paper. This is expensive and not required for the remainder which are holiday and family snaps and I was looking at a cheaper alternative with a reasonable quality. I am looking for advice Blair | Guest

| oh, most photo quality papers can be used on all photo reproducing printers. the packages will also notate details that are specific so as to match the printers requirements. so photo quality papers regardless of their manufacturer designed for ink jets have to be used for ink jet photo printers to ensure optimal quality. it is impossible for us to say which is better for you because every pc has a configuration that is different. what i "strongly" recommend when you proceed with a print project is to ensure that your computer is "dedicated" to that sole task. if it is not, then the computer will experience interruptions by services or programs installed and the data output going to the printer will become corrupted and you will have an expensive piece of photo paper with images similar to a picasso. another tip is that the photo can always be printed on photo paper. then that printed page can be taken to a copy store specializing in high quality copying. therefore you can maximize your time and save much ink and paper by taking that photo to that copying store and have it reproduced by high quality photo copiers that can use plain or textured paper. likewise, such store can also take your usb flash with the file version of the picture and outputed to photo paper via their computerized system. that being said, you might want to ensure to use a graphics program like photo shop to ensure that the raw photo taken by the camera is absolutely perfect before sending it to the printer or out for printing. -- db·´¯`·...¸><)))º> "bm" <Darroch@aol.com> wrote in message news:%23cY%23%230d0IHA.1236@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl.. .
