| On XP, if I wanted to VPN into work, a feature would allow Cisco VPN to be launched at the logon screen, so a connection can be established prior to logging on to the PC. I've tried using cached credentials, but since my network uses Kerberos, my cached token is not renewed after i 1) logon with cached credentials, then 2) establish a VPN. The feature is no longer in the program, which leads me to believe that Vista no longer allows programs to be launched at the logon screen. Is this true? -- A+, Net+ | Guest

| Do you have 3rd party security? Uninstall Cisco VPN. Make sure the Windows firewall enabled. Reinstall it. Please post back with the result. -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "Wil" <Wil@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AB2EC004-6BF4-45CA-A1E9-C0234275F81B@microsoft.com...
