Default Cisco VPN and Vista

On XP, if I wanted to VPN into work, a feature would allow Cisco VPN to be
launched at the logon screen, so a connection can be established prior to
logging on to the PC. I've tried using cached credentials, but since my
network uses Kerberos, my cached token is not renewed after i 1) logon with
cached credentials, then 2) establish a VPN. The feature is no longer in the
program, which leads me to believe that Vista no longer allows programs to be
launched at the logon screen. Is this true?

Hi,
I installed Cisco VPN Client 5.0010600 on my vista ultimate PC. No problem
but when i try to maken contact with my work i get the error message:
Secure VPN Connection terminated Locally bij the Client.
Reason 418: Unable to configure the firewall software.
Even disabling the windows firewall gives the same error.

Do you have 3rd party security? Uninstall Cisco VPN. Make sure the Windows
firewall enabled. Reinstall it. Please post back with the result.
