Colo(u)r rendering in Age of Empires II

Posted: 08-04-2006, 10:06 PM
I'm having trouble setting up Age of Empires II in vista, the
colours are out of wack, the grass has red splotches on it and the
water has dark splotches of various colours! Fiddling with the
gamma, brightness and contrast doesn't help - in fact I'm not sure
it has any effect on the AoE window. I'm sure the colour profile was
the issue when I had this problem once on XP, but it was easily
fixed then.

Anyone had any such rendering problems on games with vista? Any
clues as to where to start?

ATI driver for beta 2 of vista installed, vista build 5384, Radeon
X600 video card.
