COM port settings

Where are the serial port settings update through the
Device Manager stored. I need to access this
programmatically. In Windows 2000, I could access it in
the registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Ports. In XP when I change Port
Settings, this registry value is not getting updated.
