"Completing Installation..." *Resets Unexpectedly* "Error"

Posted: 03-10-2007, 05:23 AM
While doing a clean install of Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit on my DG965WH it
gets all the way to "Completeing Installation..." and then resets and causes
a fatal error with the system and I have to start the installation over
again. Here is what Ive tried so far.

1. Re-installed XP and used upgrade to check all hardware for compatibility.
2. Removed all non requisite hardware other than raid drives, DVD-RW, and
floppy.
3. Updated Bios, Intel Matrix storage software, and raid drivers.
4. Tried installing again with both clean and upgrade and crashed both.
5. Tried not using RAID crashed again at the same spot.
6. Called Microsoft they told me they couldn't help me cause I didnt have a
pin for Vista they said to call Intel.
7. Called Intel. They walked me through everything I just did AGAIN with no
luck and told me to call Microsoft.
8. Posted on here hoping SOMEONE can step up.
