COMPUTER MANAGEMENT | LOCAL USERS settings. Will System Restore and/or Hardware Profiles save settings so I can mess with these? Thanks.

and/or Hardware Profiles save settings so I can mess with these?

Or is there another way of keeping a good running setup to fall back
on?

These 2 modules were never meant to replace a full backup program. system
restore and hardware profiles are meant for emergencies only. If you wish to
experiment, use a full backup program designed to recover the entire system
in case of problems. The best type, IMO, are disk imaging programs like
Drive Image, Ghost or Winimage.

Winimage is part of BootITNG.

Thanks. I have ghost but never remember to use it anymore. I haven't
used in over a year. Will have to make it a habit or set up an auto
sequence of some sort.
