Computer not recognizes USB mp3 players.

Posted: 04-07-2006, 12:38 AM
My P-4, XP home computer is no longer recognizing my RCA Lyra flash music
players. Other USB devices work fine (camera, thumb drive, and card reader).
Both of my players work in my friends computer. I notice that in Control
Panel/Portable Media Devices two "revovable disks" with music player icons
are shown but when I double click on them nothing happens and when I try to
explore them I am taken to my desktop. Any ideas about what is going on and
how I can fix it?
