Connect Laptop to Desktop

Default Connect Laptop to Desktop

Can anyone experts out there teach me how to connect my
laptop to my desktop and then get access to my hard drive
in the desktop. please!

Easiest to learn how to do this by reading about it. Start with reading
"help" on your XP computer. Search for word "networking" to find a lot
of articles.

Basically what you are doing can be easily achieved by connecting the
LAN port on the laptop with the LAN card on the desktop with a
cross-over LAN cable ... available at most computer stores. This
establishes the hardware connection. Then, in the articles you read,
you can turn on the networking software, "share" the resources, and
manage "permissions".

Best to do some reading ...
