Connectivity loss & cannot log on to network with enabled
local area connection

NOTES:

Dell SX260, XP/SP1 + all updates, NIC: integrated intel
pro/1000 MT

PC will not log into the domain if plugged into the lan -
It will bypass ok if unplugged and seems to work fine when
plugged in again. A new hard-drive from an identical
configuration works fine. An alternate nic card in the
system installed with the system works fine. Q329441
which relates to losing connectivity after a restore was
applied months ago. My research points to using the netsh
command as the silver bullet to reset tcp. The command
would be:

C:\netsh int reset log.txt

I thought that a netsh -c log.txt would give me a backup
of the current setting, but the command fails - do you
have the correct command syntax? If anyone has
alternative solutions to try, please advise. Thanks! Kurt
