>What I have done is go to Explore and then in
the "Cookies" folder - which may be under your name or in
the C drive...select all .. delete.

Erik:
Removing Cookies can be done a few different ways, but I
like the "AOL Cache and Cookie Washer Program", the best
of all the methods I have used. Pretty fast program, and
it not only removes them, but washes them too, thus making
sure all traces of them are gone. This program was given
to me by a friend, and I have seen it in a few homes. You
can always use Windows "Delete Cookies" Box, or use Norton
System Works to do it.

since last security update, my internet will not engage
cookies. I've set my privicy to overide and allow any
cookies but it still doesn't work. Deleted the update and
tried to reload IE, but it keeps telling me that the
version I have is newer than the one I'm trying to get.
Has any one had this and can you tell me how i can get
internet to accept cookies.

You probably need to enable cookies in your browser. In IE look under Tools
for Internet Options. On Intenet Options click on the Privacy tab and
select the level of cookies you are willing to tolerate. There are some
useful reasons for a website to plant cookies in your browser.
Unfortunately there are plenty of sites that abuse cookies.
