OK, everytime the computer restarts, it says there is a problem with on
of my disks and does a disk check. I tried to restore to a earlie
point when the problem wasn't going on, but it says there is a dis
error and won't restore
I did the F8 key and the repair computer to no avail
I used the cprompt to chkdsk and it says there are no errors
Regardless, everytime the computer is restarted, it says there is
disk problem. If there is no problem, then how do I get this thing t
quit saying there is one? I don't have the disk the computer came wit
on me(I am a traveling nurse and didn't bring any software or backu
disks with me). Is this just a glitch on Vista? Is there a patch ou
there to fix this error message
Yes, there have been instances where the computer wouldn't shut of
using the shut down key and had to be manually shut down by pressing th
power button, and yes there have been instances of power outages wher
the computer shut down that way. But the cprompt DOS mode says there i
no disk corruption. It mentions "44 reparse records processed" and tha
is all. (whatever that means)
