Corrupt User Profile - Help!

Boot into Safe Mode and log-in as THE Administrator, What you are
logging in as is a User Account that you have called Administrator.
You will then be able to create a new user and copy all your email
documents, etc to this new user.

Try using System Restore, to when you had the profile working properly. If you need to reload, you can back up your e-mails, and other items as well, if you have the capability to copy files to disk. E-mails are easily back-up to floppies.

Use system restore to get things back. It's going to be rather difficult to
post-mortem the why. Hardware fault, overclocking or 3rd party applications
can and have caused this kind of issue before.
