I have VPC 7 and have two questions:
1) The quick shutdown feature (save PC's state) used to work much
faster tahn it currently does. Starting the PC back up (restoring
state) was also mush faster in the past. It's so slow now that it's
faster to shut windows all of the way down (instead of saving state)
and then waiting for it to boot all of the way up again. I tried a
different virtual machine and have the same problem, so I'm thinking
the problem is with Virtual PC itself (yes, I have defragmented the
Drive on the virtual machine). Anybody out there have any ideas on what
might be causing this problem.
OK....second question. My second virtual machine (Win XP Pro) does not
update the minimized view of the virtual PC's screen when it is in the
dock, the way my first machine (Win XP Home) does. Not a big deal, but
I always liked being able to see the screen as it updates, and the XP
Pro machine screen does not update when it is minimized in the dock. I
went through options and couldn't find a way to enable this feature.
Does anybody know what the problem might be there?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me.
