Default CPU Usage: 100%

My system seems to be locking up with only one program
running now. Weh I check my task manager I see that my
CPU Usage is stuck at 100%. I have 384 RAM so my system
should not lock using one program such as IE or Word.
any thoughts?

Rick,

I am not sure what you are asking. I find that my system
goes into a 100% usage mode when I run almost any
program. Oh, I have already removed the Original 811493
update and that helped until just recently things have
gooten slow again.

Rick,

I am unsure what you are asking. Again I have this
problem with almost any program that is running. Oh, I
did remove the 811493: Security Update over a month ago
that that helped with the same problem. But now the
problem is back and the update is not loaded.

Need more information. If you go to task manager, click processes, then sort
by descending CPU usage, what processes are using the most cpu cycles?
