You need Nero 6 Ultra Edition, or J. River Media Center to burn disc with
cross-fading.

CROSS FADING

I have Windows XP Pro, Media Player 10 and for some reason my crossfader is
not working consistantly. I do have the crossfading on but on MANY songs it
does not cross fade? Any suggestions of fixes?

Thanks,

Ray

Do some of the tracks have a bit of silence at the beginning or end? as this
could cause it. have you tried changing the cross fader properties? making
the overlap a bit longer might do the trick

hope this helps

Thanks for he response.

No and yes. It does not do it on all songs, but most. I have this problem
with another computer also. It was in Media Player 9 and the fading worked
all the time then when I upgraded to Medai Player 10 same issue. I restored
it back to 9 but issue still exists. Could it have to do with what format the
songs are in? Mine are al in WMA not MP3

That might have something to do with it, but i can't say for definate. not
really had any problems on mine so not sure, but all my stuff is mp3 so that
could be it. shouldn't be a problem, i would have thought. on the other hand
though, i find that with my mixed cd's that i've ripped i get a bit of
silence between tracks, very annoying. so could be something with the player
more than the format. other than my earlier thoughts i don't really know what
else could be up. sorry
