custom size paper

Posted: 07-28-2003, 06:57 PM
I just upgraded my computer & operating system to Windows
Professional XP. I need to print mailing labels for our
weekly newsletter on a dot matrix printer. The printer
installed alright, but it will not print the labels
correctly. It keeps printing one label per 8 1/2 sheet of
labels, instead of continuously printing, i.e.
xxxxx
xxxxx --label
xxxxx

xxxxx
xxxxx -next label, with several blank labels in between.
xxxxx

I do not know how to get it to print correctly. HELP!!

I am having the same problem. Apparently MS deleted the
custom page size option in windows XP. Does anyone know of
a work around or a hidden option to set up custome page
sizes im XP?

Go to the Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes. From the Toolbar,
select File, Server Properties.

You can select a Custom Page size in the Forms tab.

It's moved from where it was in 9x/ME PCs but has been the same in the NT
kernel range (Windows NT and 2000) since whenever.

Custom size paper

Can someone help me. I want to make banners for my
church. I use Windows XP with a Compaq IJ750 printer. I
not only do not have the banner size paper in the printer
set up, but I also do not have the capability to define a
paper size. I have tried creating a form for a paper
size in the "Printer Server" but the new size does not
show up. I even tried to modify a paper size already on
the list. Nothing works. (I have Word, Publisher and
various other software to make banners, software is not
the problem.) Please help.

Thanks.
