cut n paste vs drag n drop?

Posted: 05-25-2007, 03:15 PM
We have two laptop users (XP Pro) that connect to our office server (Server
2003) via Remote Desktop. They need to transfer files to and from this
server occasionally. We are able to do this using "cut and paste", but when
they try to do it with "drag and drop", it wont work. When they click and
hold on a file on their local machine, and drag it out of the local window
into the server window, they get a red circle with a line through it as the
cursor crosses the window boundary.

Is this drag n drop not allowed by design, or something not configured
right?
As I say, the cut and past works fine, but drag n drop sure would be faster.
Any sugggestions?

TIA, babygrand
