| Hi I have a small network of Vista computers in my office. The network itself is fine but I am unable to open microsoft access on more than two computers at once. We had to run microsoft's hotfix patch in order to share the database at all, but as we have five computers in all, only being able to open the database on two at once is not very helpful. Just wondered if anyone has any ideas whilst we wait for microsoft to come back to us.... | Guest

| Access is not meant for multiple access like this... Not if you have the full DB open for editing. Is the app hard coded to access? SQL Server Express (free edition) is much more suited to multi-user access. --- Jeffrey Randow jeffreycentex@gmail.com Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Thu, 11 Oct 2007 09:49:04 -0700, Sarah <Sarah@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: Quote:
