"Date Picture Taken" and "Camera Model" info lost

Posted: 08-09-2004, 02:47 AM
I like to see the "Date Picture Taken" and "Camera Model"
info in my folder when I select view details on my
computer. However, when I burn the pictures to a CD, I
seem to lose this info when I open the folder in the CD.

Any reason why?

Louis

This is normal. The information is there (if you right click on the photo,
then properties and summary or picture XP will give you this info) but it
will not give this to you when you select the Details view as when you do on
your hard drive. Maybe XP will add this at a latter date when using a CD but
at this time, this is not available. So, with a CD you can only sort (or
list) files by name and never by Date picture taken as you can do on your
hard drive. Why? There are many reasons "why" and we all hope that it can be
resolved.
