| If you don't need any documents or information from your previous installation is totally safe to delete windows.old folder. Just what a couple of day, maybe you remember that you did not backup some files, and then you can delete it. Regards, Angel. Quote:

| Now available in 5536, you can use the Disk Cleanup utility to delete Windows.old. Prior to this feature, you probably had to wrestle with file permissions, and the delete took a *long* time. This new feature is much quicker. Start->c-l-e-a-n, Press Enter Select "Files from all users on this computer" (requires elevation) (wait while it scans for things to clean up) Make sure "Previous Windows installation(s)" is checked Click OK and confirm at the "safety" prompt. -- David Goll Windows Portable Devices Team This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
