I used a CD ripping program to create some mp3 files, and
now I have about 70 files that are 0 bytes and can not be
erased. They also won't open, since they don't have any
information. They have big long file names, but evidently
have 0 bytes of information. I also have folders that
show that they have 0 bytes too. This just happened in
the past few days. ( July 11, 2003) Other than just
hanging around, they don't seem to be causing any
problems to the xp system. Is there any program that can
be used to delete these 0 byte files. Windows explorer
is not effective to delete them.
If you have any answers, I would appreciate an answer at
the e-mail address given. I have looked at the microsoft
knowledge base, but so far haven't found a practical
answer.
Thanks in advance.
