| I am having problems deleting files and folder in the shared documents folder. This is the eerror message I get. Cannot delete "file name" Access denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. I have tried several methods of deletig unsuccsessfully. | Guest

| Reboot the computer and before XP starts loading hold down the "F8" key. This give you a list of boot options. Select the one that will boot you into "Safe Mode" Log in as the administrator and then delete away. Hope this helps. Quote:
