Default Deleting files and folders in the shared documents folder.

I am having problems deleting files and folder in the
shared documents folder.
This is the eerror message I get.

Cannot delete "file name" Access denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and
that the file is not currently in use.

I have tried several methods of deletig unsuccsessfully.

>Many "shared" files are used by several programs
throughout your PC. Deleting any of these can make
certain programs unstable. I do not recommend deleting
any of them unless you want to crash your PC.

Default Deleting files and folders in the shared documents folder.

Reboot the computer and before XP starts loading hold
down the "F8" key. This give you a list of boot
options. Select the one that will boot you into "Safe
Mode" Log in as the administrator and then delete away.
Hope this helps.
