Dell 940 Printer won't print with Vista Laptop but XP desktop ok

I'm new to these posts and don't know how to navigate to read responses
Anyway, I have a XP desktop with a Dell 940 all in one printer connecte
to it. Works fine. Then I have shared my Toshiba Vista Laptop (I have
wireless router). The Laptop recognizes the printer, all driver
installed, print jobs show up but then printer doesn't print. Eve
trying to connect printer directly to laptop still doesn't let printe
print the job
I'm exhausted from trying different things. Can someone tell me i
Plain English what to do????? THANK
