destination access denied

ok i have been have this problem, when i try to delete a mp3 file i
tells me that its is denied(like as in thread title) i have restarte
computer to make sure that it is not running in any thing but it won
let me. i am trying to delete it because nortan has detected a virus o
it. that may be why i cant but please someone help i need to get i
off!!

Maybe you don't have the authority to delete it. Be sure that you have the
administrator privilege or the security settings of the file maybe changed.

i am the only user and i checked and it said i am admin. tried to chang
the setting so i am able to delete but i didnt work.

if u have any other ideas im not super good iwth computers but anythin
would be greatly accepted

Try and delete the file while in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode, restart
the computer and as it is starting up repeatedly tap the F8 key. This will
get you to the menu where you can choose Safe Mode. Use your arrow key to
select it; the mouse won't work here.

After you have (hopefully) deleted the file in Safe Mode, run some scans for
malware to be sure your computer is clean.

If it doesn't work, the security settings of the file is not allowed you to
delete it.
Check this:Right click on the file > choose properties > Security > Select
Administrators in "Group or user names" > the authority of administrators
will list in the "Pemissions for Authenticated users".
