Device Driver Error

I have been running an application without any trouble. The last time I was
running the application my machine froze up and I shut the machine down. I
cannot open the application since then. I get an error message - 'In order to
load the APPLICATION driver you need to be logged into an account with
administrative privileges'. (I am already). I then get the message 'Unable
to connect to the APPLICATION device driver. APPLICATION cannot work if the
device driver is not running. Please note that, due to a Windows issue, it
may be required to log off or restart the system before the device driver can
be loaded.' Can anyone suggest a solution for my problem.

loaded'. This did nothing. Can any suggest a solution to me problem.

right click the icon ,then press "A" then press "enter"
