Difficulty Mapping Drives under Vista

Posted: 03-03-2007, 10:26 PM
I run a small network with 4 machines connected to a SBS 2003 r2, one running
Vista the other running XP, connected to this network I also have a SNAP
Server which I use to store important information on. I use the AD to set
access rights to the shares, and login script to mount these shares on each
machine as network drives.

On every machine the script works with the exception of the machine running
Vista which keep prompting me for username and password. Strange when you
consider that I am not being asked for this on the XP machine. Why is this
happening and how do I work around it?

Essentially I want to define a login on my SBS, mount the drives on my
server and NAS box according to user rights is this possible?

Do you logon XP and Vista using the same username?
