Directx 10 problem.

I have a problem running any game using Directx 10, it gives me this error
code, "The procedure entry point D3D10_CreateEffect could not be located in
the dynamic link library d3d10.dll".

I have a Nvidia 8600GT so it should be able to run it.

O/S: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Version 6.0 (Build 6000)

Any help is appreciated.
