Directx9c component

I used this componentto update my Image but I noticed that it
did not update stream.sys: on the image there is still an old version:
5.1.2600.1106 (01/17/2003)
Directx9.c for Windows xp professional instead update this file: the new
version is 5.3.1.904 (09/07/2004).

Why does this happen?

Did you use http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en QFE?
I don't think it introduce the new version of the stream.sys. I guess it was not considered the direct part of DirectX package.

Btw, SP2 has "5.3.2600.2096" version of the stream.sys.
