| XP Home, Administrator privilege account. Is there a way to block all software installs in an account with administrator privileges? I realize the Limited Account feature will do this, but one piece of necessary software requires an Administrator privilege account. Thanks, Danny | Guest

| Danny, You could achieve this using the group policy editor. Is this machine on a Domain or is it in a Workgroup? Either way, there are a couple of ways to skin this cat. I am wondering why you just don't create, say a power users account, then scale back the priveledges from there. What exactly is this administrator supposed to do? "Danny Wall" wrote: Quote:
