Disc Cleanup freezes up

Whenever I try to run the disc cleanup, it starts
analyzing the files, then seems to freeze up. Disc keeps
running, but nothing ever happens.
How do I fix ?

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
