Distorted View and Sound (bracking up picture and sound) While Playing.

HI!!!

I have Windows XP Pro and when I put in a "DVD" I can't
seem to get an even flow or sound of the movie? I have
tried several "DVD's" and all seen to do the same? the
picture would brake up and distorted sound? What would
you recommend that I do? This might mean updating drives
or something "no"?
