Divide by Zero or Overflow error

Posted: 07-31-2003, 05:40 PM
I get this error message when trying to open an older
genealogy program. I have tried all compatibility
options, with no results. I can get in sometimes, but not
very often. Don't know why I can get in when I do.

Probably because your current computer is too fast for the old software.
Maybe you can download a patch from the website of the writer or post
the question in a genealogy newsgroup.

Right click on the program's screen icon, go to the properties tab and
select compatibility.

The compatibility selection will let you run the application from within
Windows XP as if an earlier version of Windows was actually running it.

HTH, YMMV

Cheers,

Dave
