Default Does Vista have a location system like OS X does?

Does Vista have a system where you can store network profiles for different
networks/locations? Specifically, I am wondering if there is an ability to
set specific TCP/IP adapter settings (such as static IP) for different
connections. This is similar to the location feature in OS X.
