Does Vista require a new Profile for Stereo Headphones?

Posted: 07-15-2007, 08:36 PM
Hi,
I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with a Motorola HT820 Bluetooth
(running on a Widcomm stack) Stereo Headset connecting to a Dell XPS M1210
running Vista Ultimate.

The headset works fine on a WM5 PDA but wont't turn off the XPS speakers and
actually play audio through the headset, although everything else seems to
be working correctly. I was wondering if Vista required an updated driver
or profile update of some kind? If so, where would I be able to get it?

Thanks
Keith
