Possibly because he thinks that some people, those having major problems
with Windows, might be interested in an alternative. However, I agree that
posting in a Linux newsgroup would be more appropriate.

They've already heard of it, of course. Not to mention that it isn't
"crap" as you so eloquently put it. Hence, my noble mission to spread
the good word in Microsoft news groups. Note that the article is
addressed to newbies.
