Downgrading an upgrade?

Posted: 01-29-2007, 03:37 AM
OK, I bought the MCE2005 deal over at Newegg with the free Vista upgrade.
Once I use the upgrade, can I go back to MCE if I don't like Vista, or is the
COA from MCE now tied to VISTA,making going back to MCE difficult or
impossible. OR can this scenario be handled with a phone call to MS,
explaining I want my MCE2005 back?

Hi,

Yes, you can downgrade with the original certificate if you find that Vista
is not for you. It may or may not require a phone call.
