| The download for vista beta two says the file size is supposed to be 3.5 gb for 32 bit and 4.4 for the x64. I downloaded both and when im trying to install the x64 on my pentium 820d it gives me an error whole in step one saying the windows file cant be found. I took a look at the iso and its only showing 2.2 gb for x64 and 2.0 gb for 32. Is it supposed to be this way. When i tried to download the file again w/o the download manager the files are still the same size. | Guest

| Using a d/l manager for large files is recommended, whatever site you're getting them from. You don't have to use Microsoft's (Akamai's, really), the alternate d/l link lets you use whatever d/l manager you're used to. Personally I use Download Express (freeware) from MetaProducts. -- Pierre Szwarc Paris, France PGP key ID 0x75B5779B ------------------------------------------------ Multitasking: Reading in the bathroom ! ------------------------------------------------ "brien" <brien@discussions.microsoft.com> a écrit dans le message de news: 19322F5D-3501-4189-9A31-9034AB2CF243@microsoft.com... | The download for vista beta two says the file size is supposed to be 3.5 gb | for 32 bit and 4.4 for the x64. | wget -c is what i used. it was nice, and actually quite fast. The TCP/IP stack in vista is now equal to that of linux, if not better ![]() "Jim Fraas" <tman61@comcast.net> wrote in message news:uhdIIt5iGHA.1640@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... Quote:
