| i cannot install any new programs after intalling vista (on xp sp2)....i try saving them to desktop or documents or even running them from temp file, but the downloads are nowwhere to be found...does vista beta not let you install new programs?? | Guest

| Installing is not the problem. I've installed several programs into Vista. It's an issue with downloads. For some reason, IE7 Beta 3 in Windows Vista will not let you complete file downloads. I've had this same problem since installing Vista. (Note: I did a clean install on a blank partition, and still have this same issue) "nordic" wrote: Quote:

| I haven't been aware of the IE7 downloading issue as I'm using Firefox. Try using that or Opera or whatever. jasoncollege24 wrote: Quote:
