Easy way to find out: Click on another file to download, note the location
of this file, then goto that location and your first download should be
their.

The above is one suggestion. Another might be to do Start > Search and
choose all files. Then click "When was it modified", click specified dates
and choose the date you modified the file. You'll then see every file that
was created or modified that day, the downloaded file presumably among them.

Windows update shows I have 40 updates my computer needs.
Once per day windows says it has succesfully installed
them. When I check download history they show succesful.
Is their a windows installer for XP. What can I do to fix
this?

When I try to download items from a website I get a page telling me "I am not authorized because of the credentials provided

I haven't even been able to install a Critical Update to Windows XP because of this. I tried to download the new Real Player and got the same notice

I have tried to get information from Microsoft but none of the info they give me resolves the problem

I would appreciage and help.
