downloads disapper

Ok, I have tried everything and searched the entire hard dive for the files
that I am trying to download and it is not there. I don't think that vista 64
bit is even letting the whole file download before is stops. There has to be
a fix out there to be able to download files from within IE 7. Any ideas?

Which file are you trying to download?
Which build of Windows Vista are you running?
When did this start happening?
Does this also happen in other accounts?
What is your system specs?
Which location of the system are you downloading the file to: Desktop,
Downloads folder in your User folder, local drive folder?

Please note that some files might need to be downloaded in their entirety
before they can be used. Also, IE 7 does not have a download manager.
