importing your inf's? Error messages? Import Log File?

Often, audio component driver INFs have dependencies on other INF file (like ks.inf, etc.).
Sometimes the easiest way to import such INF file is placing it on XP Pro machine under \windows\inf and import it from there (it
will pick up all the dependent INFs).

Augusto,

Alternative solution that won't yield myriad of similar components is to
make your component manualy in CD (without importing inf file)

This way PnP will do all instalation of hardware from inf file. If you are
up for reading you can fing some usefull informations in this long thread:

Quentin, you're right, AC97 is not included!

Sorry for that...

Sometimes it works to manually import only the branches
you need (Diffcult to find out which are really needed)
because there is one unneeded entry which causes automatic
import to fail.
