DST Problems

Posted: 07-11-2006, 03:10 PM
When I click on the clock in the notification area to bring up the date &
time properties it says that the clock does not support. I then checked all
the clocks available in the sidebar and none of them support DST. When I
manually force an internet time update, the clock restes without DST
applied.

This is where it really gets screwy... When I shut down Vista and log into
XP, the time there is one hour off and I have to reset it, and in XP, DST is
working.

The computer is an AMD XP 1900+ with 768MB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti
with 64MB RAM. XP is installed on the physical drive 0 (C: Drive) and Vista
Beta 2 is installed on physical drive 1 (D: Drive)

I've only seen one post about DST problems and one of the responses said
that Beta 2 = DST... It sure doesn't seem like it on my PC. Has anyone
else seen this?

Why would the lack of DST in Vista effect the time in XP?

Thanks,
David
