Dual Boot two Versions?

Posted: 04-04-2007, 04:34 PM
I own an unactivated copy of Business. I want to buy a new computer which
comes with Home Premium. Can I dual boot the installed Home Premium and
Business so that I will have Fax and Scan by rebooting or can I add the Fax
and Scan from Business into the Home Premium?

TIA

I assume there is no way to trade the Business for the upgrade from Home
Premium to Ultimate.

Dual boot is no problem
Don't think you can trade Business for the upgrade from Premium to
Ultimate unless someone is willing to 'trade' with you.

The dual boot option should be fine. Just remember that the Home Premium
edition installed on your new PC will 'probably' be setup to use the whole
of your hard drive for its own use. Obviously you will need to create a new
partition for Vista Business by shrinking your current Premium partition to
a more managable size (40 - 60GB). By shrinking the partition you will be
left with unallocated space which you can use to create a seperate partition
for Vista Business.
