Go down to step 3: how to do a custom install.
And it is called Windows 7

And read the Google results.

It would be nice if the OP gave all the details.
Or, even replied!

Cheers.

Don't be so certain. I've set it up and ever since then Vista can only be
run in Safe mode. If started normally it either BSOD's and reboots after a
short time at the login screen or if you manage to get logged in, as soon as
the wallpaper loads. This is after creating a new partition on the same
drive and successfully performing a clean install of beta 7. Luckily beta 7
works great so far while I try to figure out why Vista is having fits, short
of doing a reinstall of backup (after all it's beta so I want to figure out
what happened and why. This is the official beta 7 release from the
microsoft site btw not some alternative source.

Restart repairs have no effect same as several different restore points I
have attempted.

Proceed with caution. lol

That article discusses growing the vista boot partition. That doesn't seem a
necessary step to doing a dual boot installation. If anything won't most
people have one physical drive and be looking to shrink the vista partition
in order to create a new one upon which to install the alternative OS?

I have not had any problem growing. I have two sata HD's and I am actually
Tri-Booting because I have windows Vista on my C Drive with 165 GB Free of
207 GB, and on my D Drive which is the drive I did the shrink on I have an
older version of windows with 241 GB free of 298 GB and by shrinking this
drive I now created an H Drive which is where I installed Windows 7 with 72.4
GB Free of 90.2 GB Free. Everything works Great for me on all three of my
drive partitions, the only thing is at start up you have to decide which OS
you want to use?
